HMI Music Library

Donated by the Mancini Family, the Henry Mancini Institute Music Library is now cataloged and housed at the Marta and Austin Weeks Music Library and Technology Center at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami.

In addition, the HMI Library houses two special music collections from:

  • The Korn Library. The library is a treasure with rare editions and hard-to-find repertoire. It also features music for the string quartet. The library was donated by Howard and Jackie Banchik. Jackie’s father, Bernard Korn, was a physician and an excellent violinist who played chamber music regularly.
  • The Paula Wayne Library. It contains over 100 arrangements written for Paula Wayne, a performer and actress who enjoyed a prolific career on Broadway, as a recording artist, and live performer. She appeared opposite Sammy Davis Jr. in the Broadway classic “Golden Boy”.
