Bailey Hinkley Grogan Jazz Voice | HMI Fellow

Bailey Hinkley Grogan is an award-winning jazz vocalist, writer, and performer. She has been recognized as an up-and-coming artist in the jazz idiom and has gained attention as a prominent performer in her field. She has studied with performers such as Darmon Meader, Christine Guter, Kate McGarry, Kurt Elling, Bobby McFerrin, and Gretchen Parlato all of whom have curated her collaborative sense of leadership, crafted her warm, sultry tone, and influenced her impressive improvisation skill set. She has a Bachelor of Music from Indiana University (Jacobs School of Music, 2017) and Master of Music from California State University, Long Beach (Bob Cole Conservatory of Music, 2019). While she is originally from Denver, Colorado, she performs regularly around Los Angeles, CA.
